Fossils in Mt Schank

<< < (2/2)

Adam Hair:
Aah - bakers - been a long time since I've been there. Nice site though!

I just booked into Tank this morning - you bet me to it. :) Will be great to see you there!

Pat Fitzgerald:
Alright so apparently I'm correct in that the skeleton is very likely a freshwater Cray and likely several thousand years young
but
It's not a fossil 'YET' needs a bit more time before it can be called a Fossil.

Anyhoo
I like it, looks cool & well preserved may also be laying on top of another dead critter but this isn't as clear
perhaps he was eating the other critter when a rock fell on him
Who knows; We could make up any ol' story as he aint giving away anymore secrets!  :-X

Cheers Big Ears!
